About the event

ConTact C.A.R.E courses are for people to gain knowledge of an effective and efficient way of working with horses to relieve pain, stress and tension in the equine body, and for those who are interested in developing their understanding of ConTact C.A.R.E and the Flinchlock Release Method.

The courses are also for animal and human health professionals interested in a new approach to working with impact injuries which will complement their clinical work.

The course aims to provide the basic knowledge and practical skills of how to locate and release Flinchlocked bones. Application of ConTact C.A.R.E in First Aid situations and the basics for starting work with unresolved impact injuries safely and effectively with friends, family, horses and pets. 

Above all, you will realise how SIMPLE, SAFE and EFFECTIVE it really is to care for yourself and your loved ones with ConTact C.A.R.E.

All courses are ConTact C.A.R.E Ltd approved and offered by qualified, affiliated and authorised Instructors. All courses count towards practitioner training programs offered by ConTact C.A.R.E- New Zealand.

EQUINE - CONTACT C.A.R.E FOUNDATION.

It is all hands on - Day 1 - how to activate your senses - observation skills i.e. how to notice the clues about injury management, especially the overlooked obvious that are deemed normal behaviour, i.e. sweat patches, rough hair, bad manners, but only when touched in certain places. - body handling skills for both horse and rider - The Flinchlock Release Method.

Day 2 - course participants observe & assist in real situations practising complete Treatment Protocol - spinal & neck evaluation - how to find "Flinchlock" combinations - functional co-ordination system - use of saddle as a treatment tool - treatment plans - ongoing care.
