How do I become a PRactitioner?
The criteria for the ConTact C.A.R.E Equine Practitioner Qualification is as follows:

4 Foundation levels courses, or the equivalent of 64 hours foundation level training in either equine, human or combination courses.

A Foundation level assessment.

80 hours of recorded practical work.
Once foundation level training has been completed. The student practitioner continues onto the following, and certification of the full Equine Practitioner qualification:

4 Practitioner Level courses

1 Practitioner skills weekend

120 hours of recorded practical on top of the 80hrs of foundation practical, total of 200 hours.

Anatomy and Physiology- Equine

1 peer review from a qualified Equine ConTact C.A.R.E Practitioner.

Foundation Instructor evaluation from a qualified Equine ConTact C.A.R.E Instructor.

2 successful assessments from Camille Nelson and Dale Speedy.

The completion of Anatomy and Physiology- Equine is undertaken by the student under their own initiative, prior learning or industry experience credits are available.
